Paula K. Wirth

Paula Wirth is a multi-disciplinary artist from the MFA studio program at the University of British Columbia. "Those Who Wait" explores the concept of occupied time, investigating the dynamic entropy that occurs in the "non-places" between actions in the procedure of waiting. Paula's art visually represents the social milieu of the everyday, melding the fleeting voyeuristic pleasures of a flâneur with the imaginative narrative powers of a storyteller.
